Terms of Service
Last updated 9 August 2026
These terms cover your use of Interview-Peer. They're written to be readable rather than impressive. By creating an account or joining a session, you agree to them.
What Interview-Peer is
Interview-Peer matches you with other users to practise job interviews over live video. You take turns: one person interviews, the other answers, and then you swap. Some features use AI to generate questions or feedback.
The person on the other end is another user of the platform. They are not our employee, our agent, or a professional interviewer, and we do not vet, background-check, or certify them. Their feedback is a peer's opinion — useful for practice, but not a professional assessment and not a prediction of how a real interview will go.
Your account
- You need an account to join sessions, and you must give accurate details when you create one.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself.
- One account per person. Don't impersonate someone else.
- You must be old enough to work in your country, and at least 16.
How to behave in a session
You'll be on a live video call with a stranger who is trying to improve. Treat them the way you'd want to be treated in that position. Specifically, don't:
- Harass, insult, demean, or discriminate against anyone.
- Record, screenshot, or redistribute a session without the other person's clear consent.
- Share anything confidential that belongs to a current or former employer.
- Use sessions to recruit, sell, or promote something unrelated to interview practice.
- Show up to a session you booked and then leave the other person waiting, repeatedly.
If you're on the receiving end of any of this, tell us. We can suspend or remove accounts that breach these expectations, and for serious cases we'll do it without warning.
Your content
The answers you write, the feedback you give, and anything else you submit stays yours. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service — for example, showing your feedback to the peer it was written for, or showing your own practice history back to you.
Don't upload anything unlawful, or anything you don't have the right to share.
AI features
Some features generate questions, summaries, or feedback using AI. AI output can be wrong, generic, or confidently mistaken. Treat it as a practice aid, not as authoritative advice about your career, a specific employer, or a real interview you have coming up.
Availability and cost
Interview-Peer is currently free while in early access. We may introduce paid plans later; if we do, we'll tell you before anything you already use starts costing money.
The service is provided as-is. We don't offer an uptime guarantee, and we may change, interrupt, or discontinue features — sometimes at short notice. Live video in particular depends on your network and the other person's, and calls can fail for reasons outside anyone's control.
Limits of our responsibility
We're responsible for running the platform honestly and for handling your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for what another user says or does, for the quality or accuracy of the feedback you receive, or for any hiring outcome. Nothing on Interview-Peer is a guarantee that you'll pass an interview or get a job.
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us — which, during early access, is nothing.
Ending your use
You can stop using Interview-Peer whenever you like and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy for how). We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we'll explain why unless doing so would put someone else at risk.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we'll update this page, change the date at the top, and let signed-up users know by email. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

This page describes how Interview-Peer works today, in plain language. It is not legal advice. Interview-Peer is an early-access product run by a small team; if you need a formal data-processing agreement or have a regulatory requirement we don't cover here, get in touch and we'll tell you honestly whether we can meet it.
